The NOPD has identified Kenneth Barnes (D.O.B 12-21-1968) as the suspect in this incident.

The NOPD is searching for an unknown male who was seen on surveillance video burglarizing a home today (Oct.6) in the 1700 block of Amelia Street.
At about 11:51 a.m., the suspect was seen entering the home through the living room window. The suspect then reportedly took a number of items from the home including a Kindle tablet, a laptop, a Canon camera and other items. Police later learned the subject took off his burgundy T-shirt and left the location wearing the victim’s red T-shirt with gold and white writing.
