Suspect Sought by NOPD in Stabbing on Eastview Drive

The NOPD is seeking a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred on October 23, 2016 in the 4800 block of Eastview Drive.

At about 10:50 p.m., the pictured suspect met the victim over social media and made arrangements to meet the victim in person. The victim picked up the suspect, who was seen walking from an apartment complex located at the intersection of North Villiere Street and Independence Street. Once the suspect entered the vehicle and the victim drove them to their predetermined location, the suspect retrieved a pocket knife from her jacket and began stabbing the victim. The victim exited the vehicle in an attempt to get help. The female suspect then attempted to drive away in the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was stopped from leaving in the victim’s vehicle by neighbors, but then fled on foot
