The NOPD has issued an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Michael Desalvo (DOB: 09-23-1983) in regards to a theft that occurred on October 19, 2016, in the 400 block of North Roadway Street.
At about 4 p.m., Third District officers responded to the location and spoke to the victim, who said that he received a phone call that someone had taken property from his boat dock and fled the scene. A witness to the incident said that a small white male and white female with a child backed a white unknown small boat into the boat slot across from the victim’s boat and took a generator and oil change motor from the dock, as well as a 2003 PTD dinghy boat and fled the scene.
During the course of investigation, detectives were able to develop Desalvo as a suspect in this incident.
