Officers 'Plant for Peace' in Fifth District

Officers assigned to patrol in the Fifth District joined local community groups on Saturday (Oct. 24) to plant trees for peace.

The initiative, known as #PlantForPeaceNOLA, brought dozens of volunteers together to plant trees in the Seventh Ward neighborhood to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. The project included planting an oak tree on the neutral ground at A.P. Turead and Dules Street.
