Two unknown persons believed to be responsible for an October 2 residential burglary and car theft in the 2300 block of Camp Street were captured on surveillance video, and the NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating them.

The reporting person, a personal assistant who was watching the home for the victim, told police that he had last been at the residence on October 1 at about midnight, when he observed the residence to be locked and secured and the victim’s vehicle parked in the driveway. When the assistant returned on October 3 at about noon, he observed the victim’s vehicle – a beige 2010 BMW 3 Series two-door car bearing Louisiana license plate #WXC782 – was missing from the driveway and a window on the side of the residence was open. The assistant entered the residence and observed several jewelry boxes and drawers throughout the residence had been rifled through, but was unaware of any items were stolen inside. The missing vehicle is believed to have been stolen in this incident.
