The NOPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating numerous suspects tied to recent shoplifting incidents reported at locations within the Second District.

• At about 2:25 p.m. on September 16, an unidentified female was caught on surveillance video taking a cold drink and a box of cigars from the Washington Discount store at 3303 South Broad Avenue. The subject also reportedly threw merchandise in the store, both at the cashier and other customers.
• At about 11:15 p.m. on September 25, 2016, a male and female suspect were seen taking four cases of beer from the Circle K store at 6229 South Claiborne Avenue and fled the location in a dark-colored sedan.
• At about 7 p.m. on September 30, an unknown male suspect shoplifted one can of bug spray and paid for another from the Family Dollar store at 8201 Earhart Boulevard. He is described as a black male with twists in his hair, last seen wearing a faded green shirt and black shorts. The suspect reportedly fled the scene toward Carrollton Avenue on a black and white colored bicycle
• At about 9:30 a.m. on October 1, 2016, an unknown individual shoplifted nine cases of cigarettes from the Circle K store at 6229 South Claiborne Avenue and fled the location on foot.
• At about 1:30 p.m. on October 6, an unidentified male was seen on surveillance video entering the Circle K store at 6229 South Claiborne Avenue and taking three cases of beer before fleeing the location in a dark-colored vehicle.
