NOPD Releases Composite Sketch of Kidnapping and Sexual Battery Suspect

The NOPD has released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted for second degree kidnapping and sexual battery in connection to an incident involving a Tulane University student.

The victim reported that on October 2, 2016, at approximately 4:15 a.m. she was walking near the intersection of Broadway and Freret streets when a vehicle pulled up. An unknown black male exited the car and forced the victim into the back seat. The victim stated that he assumed she was a prostitute and demanded sex from her. After she explained she was a Tulane student and not a prostitute, he dropped her off in the 8200 block of Willow Street. The suspect slapped the victim on the buttocks as she exited the car.

The suspect is described as being in his mid to late 30s, approximately 6’ tall and weighing around 250 pounds. He is bald, has a light to medium complexion, and was wearing a Polo style shirt and dark colored jeans. A composite sketch of the suspect is included below.
