The NOPD is investigating a shooting incident reported in the 1400 block of Monroe Street that left a juvenile male injured.
Around 5:30 p.m., Second District officers received a report of a shooting in the area. Officers later learned a juvenile male victim arrived to a local hospital via private conveyance suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
The investigation is on-going and no additional information is available at this time.
