NOPD Investigating Homicide on Audubon Street

NOPD Investigating Homicide on Audubon Street

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred today (Oct. 22) in the 3100 block of Audubon Street.

 

At around 6:48 p.m., Second District officers responded to calls of shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they observed an adult male outside of a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

 

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.  No further information is available at this time. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased victim and official cause of death.
