NOPD Identifies Suspect in Armed Robbery on Rue Parc Fontaine

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lillarry Collins (DOB: 10-18-1994) in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Oct. 11, 2016 in the 3100 block of Rue Parc Fontaine.

Collins is believed to have kicked in the door of the female victim’s residence at about 7:50 a.m. to gain access before then allegedly battering the victim and pointing a firearm at the victim’s boyfriend. Collins then supposedly demanded the victim’s boyfriend to give him everything in his pockets, at which time Collins is believed to have taken a cellphone and a pair of prescription eyeglasses and fled the area.

When located, Collins will be charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, domestic abuse battery and home invasion.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lillarry Collins is asked to contact Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
