New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for armed robbery, and with identifying additional suspects wanted for armed robbery in the same incident.
Wanted is Ja'Cory Shamon Burton (pictured), Black male, DOB 11/09/2005, height 6' 2". and weight 245 pounds.
According to investigators, around Midnight on March 6, 2025 in the 13700 block of Chef Menteur Highway the male victim was robbed by Ja'Cory Shamon Burton and at least two other unidentified suspects who were armed with a handgun. One of the male suspects may be called “Lamonne”.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify one of the armed robbers (not “Lamonne”) as being Ja'Cory Shamon Burton. A warrant for his arrest is on file.
