NOPD Arrests Juvenile Student in Terrorizing Incident

The NOPD has arrested a juvenile student in connection with a terrorizing investigation that occurred in the Third District.

On Thursday November 2, 2023, the juvenile left school, which is located in the 3500 block of Trafalger Street, after an altercation with some other students.

NOPD's School Resource Officer and school officials located the student and brought him back to school where he was subsequently suspended.

Later, the student allegedly posted threats on social media aimed at other students. Due to the threats, school was cancelled Friday November 3, 2023.

The 14-year-old black male suspect, was arrested at his home this morning without incident. He is being charged with one count of felony terrorizing, and one misdemeanor count of intimidation and interference in the operation of schools.
