NOPD Arrests Shooting Suspect Moments after the Offense

The New Orleans Police Department’s Third District has arrested 48-year-old Felix Jackson in connection with the Aggravated Battery by Shooting that occurred on today (November 2, 2022), in the 4200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

According to investigators, shortly before 1:00 P.M., Third District officers responded to a call of a shooting, and upon their arrival, officers located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his body. Emergency Medical Technicians transported the victim to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Jackson was responsible for the shooting and immediately arrested him on scene.

Jackson was transported to the Orleans Justice Center to be booked accordingly.
