The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in identifying and locating two suspects in the investigation of an armed carjacking on October 22, 2020 in the 4900 block of South Galvez Street.
During the incident, the suspects reportedly robbed the victim at gunpoint and fled in the victim’s vehicle (white 2015 four-door Jeep Wrangler, actual vehicle pictured). The vehicle has yet to be recovered.
Approximately one hour after the incident, the victim’s reported stolen credit card was used at a business in the 4900 block of Chef Menteur Highway. Surveillance video from that location (available inabove player) shows a female subject (pictured) wearing a face mask who reportedly used the credit card. The video also includes audio of the female’s voice interacting with the cashier.
