Suspect Sought in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the investigation of an armed robbery on November 16, 2020 in the 4600 block of General DeGaulle Drive.

At about 7:39 a.m., the pictured subject entered a local business and approached an employee, produced a gun and demanded money from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot with money from the cash register. Nearby video surveillance showed the victim exiting the pictured vehicle, believed to be a gold or tan early 200s model Buick LeSabre.

The subject is described as a black male, possibly in his 30s, with brown skin and a medium build, standing between 5’8” to 5’10” in height and weighing between 170 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a multicolored skull cap/beanie with artificial dreadlocked hair, a black cloth COVID-19 mask, a white t-shirt with a Bourbon Street sign logo on the front and black pants.
