NOPD Arrests Suspect on Drug, Firearms Possession Charges

The NOPD arrested Jermaine Jenkins, (pictured, male, DOB: 04-24-1978) on November 12, 2020 on multiple gun and drug possession charges.

At about 12:30 p.m., NOPD Major Case Narcotics Unit officers executed a narcotic based search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of Marigny Street. Upon execution of the warrant, detectives arrested Jenkins for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with a firearm while in violation of a drug law and possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives confiscated nearly one ounce of crack cocaine, along with Xanax, marijuana, various drug packing materials, more than $900.00 in cash and three firearms.

Jenkins was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on the aforementioned charges.
