Suspect Sought in Seventh District Simple Kidnapping

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Robert Bond (pictured, DOB: 09-08-1977) in the investigation of a simple kidnapping that occurred on November 26, 2019.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives determined that Bond forced the victim to ride in his truck to the Walmart located in the 6000 block of Bullard Avenue, where he purchased a cellular telephone in the parking lot. Bond then reportedly drove the victim back to her residence, where he held her at gunpoint for approximately 45 minutes before she was able to escape into her residence and call police.

When located, Bond will be arrested for second degree kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.
