NOPD Seeking Stolen Vehicle in Fifth District

The NOPD is seeking information that could lead to the recovery of a vehicle stolen on October 30, 2019.

At around 9:00 p.m., the victim arrived at the Lowes parking lot in the 2500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue to sell his 2005 Honda TRX 400EX. The victim planned to sell the 4-wheeler to a man he met on the app “Letgo”.  An unknown male reportedly arrived at the parking lot and threatened the victim with a black semi-automatic handgun.  The suspect stated, “You know what time it is,” before stealing the vehicle and leaving the scene.

The reported stolen vehicle is white with Yamaha fenders.  For reference purposes, the photos above are of the actual vehicle.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at  1-877-903-STOP (7867).
