Juvenile Suspect Arrested in Eighth District Auto Theft

The NOPD has arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male in the investigation of an auto burglary that occurred on November 16, 2019.

The juvenile was positively identified as one of two perpetrators who allegedly burglarized a vehicle in the 600 block of Saint Charles Avenue by shattering a front passenger window. The suspect was located and arrested by NOPD Eighth District officers in the 200 block of Bourbon Street without incident, then booked into the Juvenile Justice Center on one count of auto burglary.
