ARRESTED; Suspect in Simple Burglary on General DeGaulle Drive Surrenders to NOPD

UPDATE: Lionel Robinson turned himself in to NOPD Fourth District officers on Nov. 29 in connection with the below investigation. He was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for simple burglary, and was also arrested on a warrant out of Jefferson Parish.

ORIGINAL RELEASE: The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lionel Robinson (DOB: 12-16-1993) in the investigation of a simple burglary incident that occurred on November 16, 2018 in the 3600 block of General DeGaulle Drive.

Robinson is wanted as the perpetrator of a simple burglary at a carwash in the area, where he allegedly stole more than $4,800 in cash from the location.

Upon investigation of the incident, NOPD Fourth District detectives developed Robinson as the alleged perpetrator.
