NOPD Searching for Vehicle Reportedly Used in First District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a vehicle reportedly used in an aggravated assault incident that occurred on November 26, 2018 at the intersection of St. Peter and North Dorgenois streets.

At about noon, the pictured vehicle – a black 2003 GMC pick-up truck bearing Louisiana license plate Y099153 – was allegedly in the area and occupied by an unknown black male. The subject reportedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim and threatening to shoot the victim before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The driver is further described as described as having light skin and in his late 20s to early 30s with black medium-length curly hair. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and unknown color T-shirt underneath.

The vehicle is further described as having a large dent in the driver side door.
