Suspects Wanted for Shoplifting from Dollar General

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating two subjects who are wanted for taking items from Dollar General.

The reporting person told police the suspects were seen on surveillance video taking cleaning items from the 200 block of N. Broad on Tuesday, (Sept. 12).  At about 2:30 p.m. two suspects entered the business and removed cleaning products from the shelves and placed them into bags that they brought into the store. The suspects exited the location without purchasing the items. Both suspects fled the scene in a vehicle bearing Louisiana License plate # 913ALI.

The perpetrators are both described as thin build, about 5’9” tall. One suspect was wearing a baseball cap, white t-shirt and was carrying a laundry basket. The second suspect was wearing a baseball cap and a red shirt. The suspects removed an estimated value of $200 worth of products from the business.
