Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Second Degree Battery, Other Domestic Charges

The NOPD is searching for Troy Hargrove (DOB: 10/06/74) after he physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend with a bat in the 3500 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

The incident happened on November 25, 2017.  At around 4:10 a.m., Hargrove was involved in a verbal altercation with his ex-girlfriend that eventually became physical. Hargrove reportedly struck the victim and took her purse. When the victim attempted to retrieve her purse, he struck the victim again with a bat causing a large laceration to the victim's head.

Once located, Hargrove will be charged with aggravated second degree battery, theft over $500, possession of stolen property over $500, domestic abuse battery and violation of protective order.
