Suspect Wanted for a Series of Shopliftings in Fourth District

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Shawn Miller (DOB: 08/18/1973) who is wanted for his involvement in a series of shopliftings.

The incident occurred Monday, (Oct. 30) at Dollar General in the 3600 block of MacArthur Blvd. The reporting person told police at about 9:12 a.m. the perpetrator entered the store and removed several packs of white underwear. The perpetrator exited the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect is described as slim build, with a cataract in his eye. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants and white tennis shoes.

Miller is also wanted for shoplifting from Burkes Outlet in the 3000 block of Holiday Drive. The incident occurred on Saturday, (Oct. 14) around 9:42 a.m. The suspect was seen on surveillance video entering the business and removing a pack of men’s t-shirts from the rack. The suspect exited the business without paying for the merchandise. Miller has been arrested multiple times for theft of goods in the Fourth District.
