NOPD Searching for Suspect Wanted for Attempted First Degree Murder

The NOPD is seeking assistance with locating Kyron V. Espadron (DOB: 08/21/1990) for his involvement in attempted first degree murder on a 6-month-old boy.

The incident happened on Tuesday, (Sept. 12) in the 6800 block of Parc Brittany Boulevard. The wanted suspect is accused of beating a child causing severe internal injuries over the course of several months. The subject was arrested for cruelty to a juvenile on Saturday, (Sept. 21).

During the course of the investigation, Detective Tony Goodwin obtained another arrest warrant for attempted first degree murder based on the severity of the victim’s injuries. The toddler is expected to make full recovery.
