NOPD Searching for Subjects in Fifth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is searching for three subjects in connection with a Fifth District armed robbery.

On Sunday, November 19, 2017 around 2:21 a.m. the victim said she was riding her bicycle home from work.

The victim stated when she neared the intersection of Spain and Decatur streets, a vehicle pulled onside of her.

The victim said the rear driver side door then opened, and the first subject produced a black semi-automatic firearm and stated “give me everything.”

The victim stated she handed the first subject her purse and he got back into the vehicle and the vehicle fled east on Decatur Street, and then unknown.

  • Subject 1 is described as a black male, dark complexion, clean shaven, dark color beanie, oversized dark color canvas jacket, unknown color pants, six feet tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. He appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 29. He was armed with a black semi-automatic firearm
  • Subject 2: The driver is described as a black male
  • Subject 3: There is no description of this person
