NOPD Searching for Subject in Sixth District Theft

The NOPD is searching for a subject in connection with a Sixth District theft.

 

On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at approximately 12:50 p.m., at a business in the 2100 block of South Claiborne Avenue, while the victim payed for her merchandise she placed her cell phone on the counter.

 

The subject waiting in line behind the victim concealed the victim’s cell phone with her merchandise.

 

The subject then paid for her items and took the victim’s cell phone and left the location.

 

The wanted subject is described as a black female, in her early 20s, wearing a gray dress.
