NOPD Searching for Subject in Fifth District Robbery

The NOPD is searching for a subject involved in a Fifth District robbery.

 

The incident happened on November 8, 2017 around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Frenchmen and North Robertson streets.

 

The victims stated that she met the subject earlier that morning while traveling through the neighborhood in her electric wheelchair.

 

When she noticed the chair’s battery was dying, the pair decided to return to the victim’s residence.

 

When they reached the intersection of Frenchmen and North Robertson streets the subject reached into the victim’s breast pocket and took her wallet.

 

She then fled southbound on Frenchmen Street on a black bicycle.

 

The subject was described as a black female with a scar extending from the left side of her cheek to the corner of her mouth.
