NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Business Burglary

The NOPD is searching for a wanted suspect after he burglarized Artist and Craftsman Supply International in the 1000 block of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard on Saturday, (Nov. 4).

The victim told police he locked and secured his business at about 4 p.m. on Friday, (Nov. 3). The victim returned to the location on Saturday at about 10 a.m. and noticed the rear side door’s glass broken and the door pushed in. Surveillance video cameras in the business captured the suspect breaking and entering into the business with a large brick and taking several art items from the property.

The individual exited out the side door and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The unknown suspect is about 5’10 tall, 170 lbs. with a beard. The suspect was wearing a light colored baseball cap, dark pants and a light colored t-shirt.
