NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Aggravated Battery

The NOPD Fifth District is searching for a suspect who is wanted in aggravated battery by cutting in an incident that occurred in the 5400 block of Burgundy Street.

The incident was reported on Friday, (Nov. 17). The victim told police on Tuesday, (Nov. 14) he was inside his residence sleeping when the subject produced a black pocket knife and attacked him. The victim reported several lacerations to the hand and stomach area. The suspect is described as 6’4 tall, slim build, long dreadlocks and a goatee.
