The NOPD is searching for a subject involved in a First District vehicle theft that fled Seventh District officers after a traffic stop.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2017 at 2:16 p.m., Seventh District officers conducted a traffic stop at Parc Brittany and West Coronet Court and learned that the vehicle was stolen from the First District.
During the stop, the subject fled in the wanted vehicle.
The vehicle is a 2010 black Hyundai Santa Fe with a fraudulent license plate in the window.
The subject is described as a black male.
The subject is wanted for:
- Resisting an officer by false name
- Flight from an officer
- Reckless operation of a vehicle
- Illegal possession of stolen things
- Fictitious license plate
