The NOPD is seeking assistance with identifying and locating a vehicle seen on surveillance footage and believed to be involved in a theft of lawn equipment in an incident that occurred in the 4800 block of Warrington Drive on October 24, 2017.
At about 5:30 p.m., the victim told police, he parked his truck and work trailer at the location and unloaded lawn care equipment. After he and his workers cut the front lawn, the victim moved to the rear lawn to do the same. When he returned to the truck, he observed two weed trimmers and one blower missing from the truck, along with one blower missing from the trailer.
Upon reviewing surveillance footage, detectives noticed an unknown subject using a red or maroon four-door car, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Altima, to steal the lawn equipment. The vehicle is seen canvassing the area, waiting until the victim relocated to the rear of the residence to steal the equipment.
