The NOPD is investigating a robbery in the Eighth District.
On Friday, November 17, 2017 a man was walking in the 900 block of Governor Nicholls Street when he was hit several times from behind by two men who stole a purse and then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS.
