The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 29-year-old male. The incident was reported tonight, November 11, 2017, around 7:41 p.m., in the 3300 block of General Myers Avenue.
Fourth District officers were called out to investigate a call of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival officers found the unresponsive victim face down on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is on-going and detectives are investigating to determine a motive and a suspect(s) in the incident.
