The NOPD Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that claimed the life of an adult male victim.
Seventh District officers responded to a call of a homicide around 2:13 a.m. in the 6800 block of Cindy Place. Upon arrival, officers discovered one male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside the residence.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
