The NOPD is seeking information to assist in locating a vehicle reported stolen from the 700 block of Canal Street on October 27, 2017.
At about 9:30 p.m., the victim arrived at a hotel in the area driving her gray 2016 Audi car bearing Louisiana license plate 538ACG. She then exited the vehicle, leaving it at the valet stand and giving the keys to a valet before entering the hotel. When she returned to the valet stand on October 29 to obtain her vehicle, the victim was told several hours later that her vehicle had been stolen on October 27, while the vehicle was to be parked by the valet attendant. A review of security footage showed that at about 9:35 p.m., while the victim’s vehicle was in front of the hotel, an unknown male entered the vehicle and drove away from the area.
