Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery on Earhart Boulevard

The NOPD is looking for a suspect caught on video during the commission of an armed robbery in the 4600 block of Earhart Boulevard on November 17, 2016.

At about 5:24 p.m., the victim was working in a mechanics yard. At that time, an unknown black male proceeded into the yard, produced a black colored revolver and robbed the victim at gunpoint. The suspect then fled on foot westbound along Earhart Boulevard.

Surveillance video of the suspects walking in the vicinity can be viewed at https://youtu.be/9uE8IVD0xf8. In the video, the suspect is located in the distance, walking along the street outside of the location.

The unknown gunman was described as a light-complexioned black male, possibly between 20-25 years old, standing approximately 5' 06" and weighing about 150 pounds with a slim build, short brown hair, a short beard and brown eyes. The suspect was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, khaki pants, black socks and sports-type sandals. The victim described the weapon as being a medium to small black revolver.
