NOPD Investigating a Homicide on Sullen Place

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred tonight (Nov. 9) in the Fourth District.

At approximately 8:46 p.m., officers responded to a call of gunshots in the area of Sullen Place and General Meyer Avenue. Upon arrival they discovered an unresponsive female victim laying on Sullen near the sidewalk. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity and the official cause of death.
