The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 14000 block of Peltier Drive.
At around 3:20 a.m., Seventh District officers responded to calls of an aggravated battery by shooting in the area. When officers arrived, they observed an unknown male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name and official cause of death.
