NOPD Detectives Arrest Man for Multiple Shoplifting Incidents in the Fifth District

Two Fifth District detectives arrested Brian Nobles (DOB: 07-10-1970) on Thursday (Nov.17) for stealing items from multiple stores including the Family Dollar, Dollar General and Citi Trends stores. 

On November 13, 2016, officers responded to a recent theft at the Dollar General store in the 1100 block of Poland Avenue. When officers arrived, they observed Nobles on surveillance video stealing household items.  Through the course of the investigation, detectives Terry Bean and Anthony Bakewell were able to locate Nobles at the intersection of Lizardi Street and St. Claude Avenue where stolen items were also located on him.

Detectives are continuing to investigate if Nobles is responsible for additional incidents.
