New Photo Shows Vehicle Believed to Be Used in Shooting on South Liberty and St. Andrew Streets

NOPD Sixth District detectives have obtained a photo of a vehicle they believe was involved in a shooting that happened today (Nov 30) at the intersection of South Liberty and St. Andrew Streets.

The victim told police that at approximately 11:25 a.m., he was standing at South Liberty and St. Andrew streets when a black four-door sedan, possible a Toyota Camry, was driving westbound on South Liberty Street and stopped in front of him. Multiple unknown black males armed with guns and wearing masks then exited the vehicle and opened fire on the victim, striking his hands and his right leg. The suspects then got back intothe car and then fled the scene, heading westbound on South Liberty.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives located surveillance video that showed the vehicle believed to be used in the incident.

Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or this incident is asked to contact Sixth District detectives at 504-658-6060. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
