Four Suspects Sought for Carjacking at Nashville and St. Charles Avenue

Four Suspects Sought for Carjacking at Nashville and St. Charles Avenue

NOPD is looking for four suspects wanted for an overnight carjacking.

 

On November 23, 2016, at approximately 2:35 a.m. the victim reported that she was stopped at a red light at St. Charles Avenue and Nashville Avenue when she was rear-ended by a silver four-door vehicle occupied by four college-aged black males.

 

The victim stepped out of her vehicle to inspect the damage and two of the suspects exited the rear of the silver vehicle and jumped into her red four-door Hyundai Elantra and drove off, followed by the remaining two suspects in the silver vehicle. They were last seen on St. Charles heading toward Napoleon Avenue.

Carjacking

Louisiana law states that Individuals convicted of carjacking shall be imprisoned at hard labor for not less than two years and for not more than 20 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
