The NOPD is searching for two vehicles of interest in connection with a homicide that left two women dead on May 12, 2023 in the First District.

At around 1:31 a.m., NOPD First District officers were notified of a shooting in the 1000 Block of North Claiborne Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult females suffering with multiple gunshot wounds.  EMS transported both victims to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased.  

The Orleans Parish Coroner identified the victims as 20-year-old Jadiamond Jones and 20-year-old Imani Williams.

Through investigation, detectives obtained surveillance footage of two separate vehicles that they have identified as vehicles of interest in this investigation.  Both are described as dark grey, possibly Hondas with dark tint.
