The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle in the Third District.
On May 22, 2023, around 11:31 p.m., the victim's blue 2021 Kia Soul was stolen from the 2300 block of Sere Street.
Through investigation, detectives identified the perpetrator of this incident as the pictured subject.
The unidentified male subject was driving the pictured light-colored SUV and was seen exiting this vehicle in order to the steal the victim's car.
The stolen Kia has Louisiana license plate 299DTU.
