The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating two suspects wanted for aggravated burglary in the 500 Block of Elmira Avenue.
On May 24, 2023, at about 5:00 p.m., the victims reported that two women kicked in the door of her residence. One suspect physically attacked one victim, while the other suspect threatened another person with a knife and prevented them from intervening.
The suspects then took the some of the victim's property and fled.
Through investigation, the suspects were positively identified as Yolanda Nixon (Black female, DOB:11/12/1970) Pictured left, and Kayla Williams (Black female, DOB: 1/1/2003), pictured right.
The two are wanted for aggravated burglary.
