NOPD Seeks Suspects Wanted in Connection for Fighting at High School Graduation

Members of the New Orleans Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the pictured suspects wanted in connection with a disturbing the peace by fighting incident that occurred shortly before 12:00 p.m. on May 20, 2022, in the 7900 block of Stroelitz Street.

According to investigators, a fight occurred between several large groups at the Carver High School graduation.

While actively restoring order, officers quickly apprehended 22-year-old Malik Washington as one of the suspects and found him to be in possession of a firearm. Malik Washington is a convicted felon and was arrested for Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

The remaining pictured subjects are sought for identification in this investigation.
