NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Seventh District Shooting Investigation

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Donta Morris (pictured, black male, DOB: 02-18-2000) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting incident that occurred on May 24, 2022, in the 14900 block of Curran Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives have developed and positively identified Morris as the perpetrator who shot the victim in this incident.

Morris is wanted on one count of second-degree aggravated battery.
