NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two pictured unknown subjects wanted for a carjacking incident that occurred on May 8, 2021.

At around 7:00 p.m., the victim and her boyfriend parked their vehicle in the 3100 block of St. Claude Avenue.  While the boyfriend exited to car to pickup some items from a nearby business, the victim waited inside of the car in the passenger seat.  The posted surveillance video captured two unknown males approaching the vehicle.  While one suspect opened the driver side door and sat in the driver’s seat, the other subject opened the passenger side door and reportedly demanded the victim leave her belongings and exit the vehicle.  The victim complied, and the subjects fled in the vehicle.  The vehicle was recovered later in the 1600 block of Lesseps Street.

Anyone with information regarding the identity and or whereabouts of the pictured subjects is asked to contact Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
