NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD arrested Samuel Jones (pictured; DOB: 04/17/82) for an aggravated assault incident that occurred on May 8, 2021.
At around 2:20 p.m., Jones was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim in the 3700 block of General DeGaulle Drive. At some point, Jones pulled out a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim and threatened to kill him. Once notified, NOPD Fourth District officers responded and placed Jones under arrest. He is being charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
