NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and the US Marshals arrested Keon Esteen (pictured; DOB:12/02/02) who is believed to be involved in an armed robbery incident that occurred on April 3, 2021.
At around 3:13 p.m., NOPD Sixth District officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred in the 2600 block of South Claiborne Avenue, where a red Ford F-150 pickup truck was stolen. During the investigation, detectives were able to obtain surveillance video that captured Esteen exiting a vehicle stolen earlier from the 500 block of Monetgut, and entering the stolen aforementioned Ford pickup truck.
Esteen was arrested on April 30, 2021 on an outstanding warrant in the 8700 block of Gervais Street and booked into the Orleans Parish Criminal Justice Center on armed robbery and illegal possession of a stolen vehicle charges.
